I'm Robert, aka Rob or RC (he/they).

I'm a multimedia artist, creative scholar, educator, and entrepreneur. My creative journey began with a focus on artistic storytelling as a young person, which led me to study the craft of photography. Since receiving my B.S. in Photography in 2011, I've lived a number of creative lives, working in-house for national creative agencies like 160over90, supporting other technicians at equipment houses like Lightbulb Rentals, and freelancing around the country for culture makers like Jill Scott, Maki Kawakita, Matt Madden, and the 76ers. I've failed forward a few times in my career on the way to becoming the best version of myself - learning from every person and experience. Along the way I came to understand the power of image as affirmation, and the responsibility we have to use our light to amplify the light others - especially those who don't get a spotlight very often.   

As an artist and educator, I believe that the practice of creative expression, research, and imagination is where we find the power to make real and lasting change. As a photographer and Black, queer citizen of the world, I understand the critical role that image plays in communicating and archiving our truth. From hieroglyphs to Generative AI, humanity has been using image to tell our story across time. I see part of my role here as a steward of that practice.  

I founded LHT.HSE with this experience and purpose in mind. We blend technical precision and commercial appeal with a culture of care and a reverence for art and the human spirit.
